On April 13, 2021, #USAID #PITA and the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, in partnership with #CCIIR and Ilia State University, presented the results of the information campaign "Promoting Access to Higher and Vocational Education among Ethnic Minorities".
On April 13, 2021, #USAID #PITA and the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, in partnership with #CCIIR and Ilia State University, presented the results of the information campaign "Promoting Access to Higher and Vocational Education among Ethnic Minorities".
From October 2020 to February 2021, information campaign participants conducted face-to-face and online information meetings for up to 80 rural schools in 12 municipalities in ethnic minority regions and provided information on higher and vocational education to high school students (823 beneficiaries). 1 + 4 on preferential policy.
The event was addressed by Deputy Secretary of State for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Lia Gigauri, USAID Office of Democracy, Human Rights and Governance (DRG) Director Adam Schmidt, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Tamar Samot Shalva Tabatadze, Chairman of the Relations Center.
Members of the mobile group presented the results achieved in 2020-2021. Certificates were awarded to the young people participating in the information campaign during the event.
